Let's celebrate together

Celebrate your day in two special ways:

  1. With your team

  2. With your local community.

Now in 100+ countries, Chefs Day is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year. We need to make it a 'default' celebration in India by 2030. Help us achieve it.

In India this year, the focus is on sharing meals via the 'Meals On Two Wheels (MOTW)' programme.

Alan DMello rode the length of India’s Western Coast to raise awareness of Chefs Day. It was the ‘proof-of-concept’ for the next five years of activities. It almost did not start. Did it go well?

Here is his journey.

International Chefs Day, 20th October

International Chefs Day is about equality of the culinary professional not the size and type of our kitchens. We feel it should be celebrated by everyone in a professional kitchen and across hospitality similar to 'Teachers Day' and ‘Environment Day’ celebrations. It has been celebrated in 100 countries since 2004 but is not yet well known here in India. Our numbers are growing rapidly, the goal is to make it a 'default' celebration in India by 2030.
